Jennifer (Jones) Hubbard

Jennifer Jones Hubbard, age 77, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. She passed into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer’s heart was fullest when her family was surrounding her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and the greatest Nanny ever. Before becoming disabled, she enjoyed working in the yard, cooking, and spending time with her mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Doug and Bertha Williams Jones, and a brother: Butch Jones.  

Jennifer is survived by her husband of 54 years: Larry Rufus Hubbard, her daughters: Kristi (Gordie) McGlynn and Sherri (Pat) Ervin, a son: Steven Hubbard, grandchildren: Kallee (Brandon) Moses, Brooke Hubbard, Jacob Ervin, Autumn (Hunter) Seiber, Nathan Hubbard, and Noah Hubbard, great-grandchildren: Marshall Ervin, Cason Moses, Hadley Moses, Jax Seiber, Addyline Seiber, Asher Smith, another one on the way, and a sister: Janice Moses.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hearth Hospice, with special thanks given to Kim Beck for her love and devoted care of Jennifer.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah with Reverend Will Davis and Brother Pat Ervin officiating.

Steven Hubbard, Jacob Ervin, Brandon Moses, Randy Burchfield, Buddy Davis, and Gordie McGlynn will serve as pallbearers.
