Jerry Robert Davis

Jerry Robert Davis, age 61, native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was an independent over-the-road truck driver for several years.  Jerry attended Triumphant Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jerry E. Davis and Vickie Jo McCamish, grandparents: Robert F. Kennedy and Belva V. Kennedy, two aunts: Bobbie J Thomas and B Janet Bidwell, and two uncles: Jimmy S. Kennedy (Peggy) and Larry Kennedy.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 21 years: Mary A. Scriver Davis, an aunt: Reba Hiefnar, and several nieces, nephews, cousins.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the Athens group at Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care of Jerry.

Family and friends will meet for graveside services at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Sullins Cemetery with Reverend Keith Wilcox officiating.

Michael Goins, Robbie Thurman, Tylan Davis, Junior Vaughn, Charlie Blevins, Ricky Roberts, Jimmy Price, and Rocky Raper. will serve as pallbearers.
