Jerry Michael Wittenmyer

Jerry Michael Wittenmyer, age 74, a native of Clinton, IN and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025.  Jerry served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Ivan Syril and Alice Imogene Fiscus Wittenmyer, wife of 48 years: Frances “Fran” Leona Benson Wittenmyer, daughters: Annette Lickliter and Karen Ruiz, and a granddaughter: Stephany Kuhlman.

Jerry is survived by his daughter: Tammy Kuhlman (Howard) of Athens, and a stepson: Charles Lickliter of Athens, a niece Kim Smith (Dean) of Athens.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Ziegler Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service with military honors at McMinn Memory Gardens at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Brother Glen Standridge will be officiating.   

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
