Jesse Curtis Bookout

Jesse Curtis Bookout, age 44, native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. He was employed with Coordinated Charities in Athens. Jesse was an avid sports fan and had a very giving heart.

He is preceded by his father: Curtis Benton Bookout and a special aunt: Jane Jackson.

Jesse is survived by his mother: Cathy Moses Bovard, stepmother: Lisa Spoon, son: Anthony Bookout, brother: Kevin Bookout (Kari), along with several aunts, uncles, and special cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at New Bethel Cemetery in Madisonville.

Nic Thomas, Anthony Bookout, Kevin Bookout, Tommy Carver, Parker Thomas, and Danny Shockey will serve as pallbearers.
