Joann Lynn Stafford Morgan, age 66, a lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on November 16, 2025. She was a member of Stephensville Baptist Church of Englewood.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Mary Jo McMinn Stafford, a brother: Earl Stafford, a sister: Linda Ballew, sister-in-law: Pauline Boggess, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Emma Morgan.
Joann is survived by her husband of 29 years: Reverend James L. Morgan, daughters: Amanda Morgan (Ayanle Shimbir), Kelly Mitteis (Ebin Norris), Kaylene Brooks (Eric), sons: William Morgan (Christina) and Jerry Morgan (Christina), her sisters: Patsy Huckabey, Deema Tucker, Julie Cline, and a brother: Finley Stafford, 18 grandchildren, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jimmy Morgan and Becky Morgan, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Ziegler Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow at McMinn Memory Gardens at 2:00 PM with Reverends James L. Morgan and Christopher Morgan officiating.
William Morgan, James Morgan, William Morgan, Jr, Jerry Morgan, Eric Brooks, and Ebin Norris will serve as pallbearers.
