Joseph “Dillion” Charles, age 27, native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Parkwest Medical Center.
Dillion is preceded by his parents: Ricky Joe and Deborah McNelley Charles, paternal grandparents: Joe and Francis Charles, and maternal grandfather: Bobby McNelley.
He is survived by his sons: Brayden Lee Charles and Kenden Joseph Ray Charles, sisters: Andrea Ricker of Ten Mile, Haley McNelley of Athens, grandmother: Billie McNelley, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
David Schrimpsher, Greg Hicks, Hunter Brown, and Tuff Ricker will serve as pallbearers.
