Joseph “Hunter” Watson, age 19, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. He grew up in Polk County, but recently moved to Cleveland. Hunter was employed with Jackson Manufacturing in the shipping department and was a member of Wings of Love House of Prayer in Cleveland.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: William “JR” and Patsy Darlene Russell Watson, maternal grandmother: Clara Truelove, uncle: Steven Gregory Watson, cousins: Shawn Madison Watson, and Peyton Wayne King.
Hunter is survived by his parents: Joey and Pam Truelove Watson of Reliance, a child due in January 2025, his sister: Kaylie Danielle Watson of Reliance, uncles and spouses: Chris Watson of Madisonville, Jason Watson (Brandi) of Cleveland, Christopher “Topper” Eaton of Madisonville, and Clyde Matthew Truelove of Benton, maternal grandfather: Clyde Truelove, Jr of Benton, along with many other cousins and family members.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Madisonville Church of God of Prophecy. A funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Madisonville Church of God of Prophecy with Reverend Lee Truelove officiating, with a burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Austin Watson, Daniel Kampii, Dylan Frank, Ethan Watson, Aiden French, and Chase Frank will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to help with Hunter’s final expenses.
