Juana Crescencia Cruz Redman, age 84, native of El Salvador, and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was a member of New Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Patricinia Cruz, her husband: Ralph Stewart Redman, Sr, and a son: Thomas Redman.
Juana is survived by her daughters: JoAnn and Scott Sledge of Sweetwater, Louisa and Chuck Brackett of Athens, a son: Ralph Redman, Jr. of Athens, grandchildren: Kacey and Lynn Small, Tyler and Madison Sledge, Danielle and Trent Swafford, Chris Brackett, Curtis and Briana Redman, Amanda and Deana Redman, great-grandchildren: Ashlynn England, Emily England, Landon England, Scarlett and Easton Sledge, Miracle Thaxton, Chanel Redman, Jaylen Redman, Collin and Annalee Swafford, sister-in-law: Lovella Redman of Decatur, many nieces and nephews, and her special cat: Zeus.
The family will receive friends at Ziegler Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Ezra Bo Coleman officiating. Graveside services will be held at McMinn Memory Gardens at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Chris Bracket, Trent Swafford, Tyler Sledge, Lynn Small, Curtis Redman, and Devin Thaxton will serve as pallbearers.
