Judith Lee (Curry) Ferguson

Judith Lee Curry Ferguson, age 81, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was a native of Cleveland, OH, and was later a resident of Athens for 51 years. Judith was employed with Western Sizzlin Steak House.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Mildred Gute Curry, her brothers: Dale Curry and David Curry, and sisters: Gladys Schoch, Marilyn Coffee, and Barbara Meadows. 

Judith is survived by her daughter: Janet Lee Ricker Brown (Ray Pilkey), a son: Jay Matthew Ricker (Michelle), her grandchildren: Phillip Dale Shelton (Lauren), Paul Matthew Ricker, Homer Brown, and Chevy Brown (Jeff Thomas), great-grandchildren: Joseph Scott Brown, Harlen Dean Thomas, Dusty Thomas, Dalton Thomas, Tylen Lawson, and Chyenne Brown, a sister: Sharon Register, and a special niece and nephew: Renee Harper and Roger Schoch.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Ziegler Funeral Home.
