June (Brooks) Oliver

June Brooks Oliver, age 83, native of Greenback and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was a member of East Athens Baptist Church.

She is preceded by her parents: Howard M. and Jeanette French Brooks, brothers: George Brooks and Kenneth Brooks, and a sister: Phylis Allen.

June is survived by her husband: Charles Foster Oliver, Sr, a daughter: Tina Gann, a son: David Frost, a sister: Shirley Disanto, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
