Kenneth "Bill" William Price

Kenneth “Bill” William Price, age 76, a native and lifelong resident of Athens, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam where he earned a Purple Heart for his service. Bill later retired from TVA.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth and Pauline Simpson Price, two sisters: Betty Green and Susie Price, and her brothers: Dallas Price and Hobert Price.  

Bill is survived by his sons: Mitchell Lee Price and Chad William Price, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his siblings: Sissy Price (Tim Hooper), Bobby Price, Charles Price, Danny Ray Price, and Michael Price.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Reverend Keith Whited will be officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
