Larry Davis Obituary

Larry Dean Davis, age 85, native of Mt Vernon, OH and longtime resident of Madisonville, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was retired from (White Westinghouse) Athens Stove Works and was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Madisonville, TN. Larry also served in the United States Navy. He was an avid Ohio State football fan. He loved spending time with his family and going on mission trips.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Willard J. and Ethel Marie Highman Davis, daughters: Susan Marie Davis, Sharon Lee Davis, stepdaughter: Madeline LeLuika, and a sister: Carol Levering.

Larry is survived by his life partner of nine years: Rena Foster, sons: Jeffery Scott Davis (Julie), Robert Dean Davis (Kathy), and Michael Davis (Cari), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister: Shirley Leverton, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at this time.
