Linda Kaye (Ison) Holt

Linda Kay Ison Holt, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2023, surrounded by family at her residence. She was a former resident of Dallas Texas before moving to McMinn County in 1997. Linda was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church for many years. She retired as a Nutritionist, having received a master’s degree in nutrition from Clayton College.

She is preceded by her parents, Emory Winston and Ella Marie Neely Ison.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Eric Holt, children: Chad Holt (Margaret), Katy Bryant, and Jessie Holt (Jamie), ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren (with one more on the way), and a sister: Sandy Elgin.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Fairview Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Herrell and Pastor Jack Scallions officiating. Interment will follow at Eastanallee Cemetery.

Dylan Holt, Jacob Rhodes, J.P. Busch, Dustin Giltnane, and Denver McGrady will serve as pallbearers.
