Lois (Bowling) Hassler

Lois Bowling Hassler, age 68, of Etowah passed away Tuesday September 7, 2021, at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens.

Lois was a native of Robbins, TN and resident of Etowah since 1986.  She was a daughter of the late Obis and Millie Overton Bowling.  She is also preceded by Grandson Stephen Plunkett and Brothers Lloyd Bowling and Louis Bowling.

Lois was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Michael Hassler;

Daughters Michelle Wilkey and husband Kelly of Kingston, GA, Rachel Renfroe and husband Eric of Cleveland, and Sarah Ramos and husband Sean of Athens;

Son Nathan Hassler of Riceville;

9 Grandchildren;

3 Great Grandchildren;

Sisters Lori Staggs, Lula Raines and Flora Bowling, all of Robbins, TN.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Calvary Tabernacle located at 2820 Highway 11 South in Athens.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 PM with Pastor Jerry Dean officiating.  Burial will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.
