Lora Kay (Parks) Low

Lora Kay Parks Low, age 74, of Athens, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024. She was a member of West View Baptist Church. Lora loved her church family and friends dearly.  She was a faithful employee at Chattanooga Funeral Home for over 30 years, where she worked as secretary.  Lora loved quilting, sewing, and she especially loved her cats.

She is preceded by her parents: Judd and Helen Cate Parks, her sister: Linda, and her best friend: Dee Edmonson.

She is survived by several family members and her church family.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Keith Whitted officiating.
