Luis Elias Hernandez

Luis Elias Hernandez, age 88, of Calhoun passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Etowah Health Care in Etowah.

Luis was a native of Monterrey, N.L Mexico and a resident of McMinn County for the past 5 years.  He was a son of the late Luis Hernandez Hernandez and Zoila Duran Arenas.  He was also preceded by his wife Yolanda Barrera R., 1 brother and 6 sisters.

Luis is survived by

Daughters Soledad Gonzalez (Francisco Montoya), Elizabeth Hernandez (Eleazar Cordero), and Yolanda Noemi Medrano (Virgilio Medrano);

Sons Luis Medardo (Dolores Ramirez), Elias Hernandez (Martha Hernandez), Isaias Hernandez (Diana Hernandez);

24 Grandchildren;

32 Great Grandchildren;

2 Great Great Granchildren;

Sisters Josefina Hernandez Duran, 98 years old, and Adriana Hernandez who is 80 years old.

Funeral Services will be at 12 PM Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Luis Hernandez and Pablo Vega officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM – 12 PM Saturday.
