MICHAEL "MIKE" ALAN GLOVER

Michael” Mike”  Alan Glover, age 59, of Athens,passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020,at his residence.

 He was a native of Charlottesville, VA.  and resident of Athens for 39 years.  Mike was an employee of Ag-Central as a truck driver and was a member of Mt. Verd Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years,

   Mary Jane Shultz Glover of Athens

One daughter and son-in-law,

   Faith and Jacob Akers of Athens

Two sons and one daughter-in-law,

   Brandon and Chelsea Glover of Athens

   Joshua Jackson of Athens

Four grandchildren: Caylie, Hunter, Joseph and Amelia

One great granddaughter, Mila

His mother, Ethel Deane Kettlewell

Three sisters and two brothers-in-law,

   Lori Sigman of Gordonsville, VA.

   Carolyn and Robert Seale of Gordonsville, VA.

   Sabrina and Joe Serna of Stanardsville, VA.

One brother,

   Henry Glover Jr. of Charlottesville, VA.

Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,

   Keith and April Shultz of Athens

   Vivin and Kathy Schultz of Peotone, IL.

   Leon Shultz of Rock City, IL.

   Mike White of Athens

Funeral services will be 7 pm Tuesday at Mt. Verd Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating. Burial will be 11 am Wednesday in Tranquility Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the church.
