Marlene Susan (Middleton) Burris

Marlene Susan Middleton Burris, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church in Sweetwater.

She is preceded by her parents: Robert and Marie Dixon Middleton, her husband: Ricky Burris, sister: Joyce May Setser, and sister-in-law: Tonya Middleton.

Marlene is survived by her daughters: Stephanie and Dean Rollins of Madisonville, and Paige Burris of Athens, sons: Matthew and Amanda Hamblin of Madisonville, and Justin Burris of Chattanooga, brothers: Steve Middleton of Athens, Marcus James Ramsey of Knoxville, and Tony Edward Setser of Greenville, grandchildren: Sidney Hamblin, Hannah Hamblin, Kylie Campbell, Marcus Campbell, and Jaxson Burris, the father of her children: Steve Hamblin of Madisonville, along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Cochran Cemetery in Englewood, Tennessee, at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
