Marlene Sue (Farmer) Morgan

Marlene Sue Farmer Morgan, age 65, a native of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She had previously lived in Utica, KY and was a longtime resident of McMinn County.

Marlene was a daughter of the late Inos Marshall and Inez Catherine Smith Farmer. She is also preceded by her husband: Joney Ray Morgan, and a son: Michael Morgan.

She is survived by a daughter: Jennifer Roderick of Cleveland, sons: Jonathan (Jennie) Morgan of Etowah and Marshall (Sharla) Morgan of Etowah, sisters: Norma Jones of Arizona, and Marsha Frank of Indiana, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is further survived by a special double cousin: Larry Smith of Kentucky and a special friend: Larry Waller of Ten Mile, TN.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union McMinn Church Cemetery in Niota.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
