Mary Ellen (McCamish) Davis

Mary Ellen McCamish Davis, age 82, of Riceville passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her residence.

Mary was a native of Calhoun and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  She was the daughter of the late William Jennings and Gadena Townsend McCamish.  She was also preceded by her sisters Martha Womac, Faye Parkison, May Thornburg, and Eleanor Gautney, and infant brother Clifton McCamish.

Mary was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.  She worked at Pioneer Furniture and Walker Valley High School cafeteria.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Boyd Davis of Riceville;

Daughter Rosetta Watson (Joe) of Calhoun;

Sons Reed Davis (Libby) of Riceville and Ricky Davis (Vickie) of Riceville;

8 Grandchildren;

9 Great Grandchildren;

Special Friends Roy and Wilma Shelton.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Calhoun,TN,  with Rev. Scott Martin and Rev. Daniel Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow at Chestuee Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Watson, Andy Watson, Rusty Davis, Michael Coppock, Justin Coppock, and Parker Coppock.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM – 2 PM Saturday.
