Mary Jane (Batzel) Harris

Mary Jane Batzel Harris, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. A resident of McMinn County for 18 years, she was a lifelong resident of the Poconos, living in Tobyhanna, PA. Mary was an avid gardener and animal enthusiast.

Born in Angels, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Frances Rickel Batzel. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years: David Charles Harris, and a son: Jeffery D. Harris.

Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law: Ann Marie Harris, her grandchildren: Kimberly Keyes (Michael), Kyle Harris (Michael), great-grandchildren: Mason and Konner Keyes, her faithful dog companions: "Runaway" and “Lucky”, and her special friends: Charles and Vickie Burke.

Funeral arrangements will be made by Duffy & Snowden Funeral Home in Moscow, PA.

There will be no visitation. Private burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA.
