Mary “Frankie” Seargeant Miller, age 86, native and lifetime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was a member of Valley Road Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Era Webster Lock Seargeant, husband: Carl Wesley “Wes” Miller, sons: Carl Marlin Miller and Marvin Wesley Miller, sisters: Eva Ruth (Jimmy) Huckabey, Adelia Sue Wallace, Joyce Cranfield, and Juanita Howard, infant sisters: Mary Alice Seargeant and Dekla Mae Seargeant, brothers: Charles Seargeant, Check Seargeant, Kenneth Seargeant, Duke (Joyce) Seargeant, J.D. Seargeant, Roy (Jeanette) Seargeant, and an infant brother: Junior Seargeant.
Frankie is survived by a granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Brittany Keely and John F. Storaska II, great-grandchildren: John “Jay” Storaska III, Augusta Keely Storaska, Lenora Millie Storaska, and Inara Serenity Storaska, a sister: Lorene (Bill) Sneed, brothers-in-law: Paul Cranfield and Vic Howard, daughter-in-law: Jan Lingerfelt Miller and Vickie (Bobby) Haile.
The family will receive friends at Ziegler Funeral Home from 12:00 until 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ziegler Funeral Home with Reverend David Coffman officiating. Interment will follow directly after funeral services at Valley Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
