Mary Daniels Obituary

Mary Sue West Daniels, age 88, of Athens and formerly of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at her residence.

A native of Knoxville and longtime resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Pearl Keck West. She was also preceded in death by sisters Evelyn Edmonds and Lulu Jane West.

Mary was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed puzzles, books and coloring books.

Survivors include her;

Daughter Kaye McCurry and husband Tom of Athens;

Grandchildren Eric McCurry and wife Becky of Yukon, OK, Elizabeth Wilson and husband Kenya of Cleveland, and Todd McCurry and wife Phene of Beechgrove, TN;

Great Grandchildren Jasmine, Jayden, Abby and Olivia.

There will be no be no formal services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
