Melissa “Christie” Goins Conn, age 41, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. She enjoyed fishing, hunting arrowheads, and antique collecting.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Browning Goins.
She is survived by her father: Murle Glenn Goins, Sr, her husband: Tommy Conn, her daughters: Alissa Conn and Lexie Conn, her son: Thomas Conn, twin sister: Cathy Goins, sister: Crystal Smock, brothers: Murle Goins, Jr and Murle Crowe, nieces and nephews: Marcus Smock, Christopher Smock, Candice Smock, and Chase Goins.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 PM at Pisgah Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Murle Goins, Jr, Chase Goins, Marcus Smock, J.D. Maldonado, Christopher Smock, and Todd Carroll.
