Obituary
Melvin Lee Millsaps, age 85, of Niota, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Starr Health and Rehab Center in Etowah, TN.
Melvin was a native of Madisonville and longtime resident of McMinn County.
He was a son of the late Lee and Bertha Lovingood Millsaps. He was also preceded by his loving wife, Sara Harris Millsaps, son Ray Junior Millsaps, and infant son Jimmy Lee Millsaps as well as several brothers and sisters.
Melvin was self-employed construction mechanic.
Melvin is survived by
Daughter Sara Breeden (David) of Niota,
Son Jerry Millsaps (Becky) of Niota,
8 grandchildren
Several great-grandchildren
Sister Bobbie Allen
Brothers Gary Millsaps and Robert Millsaps
Several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 PM, Thursday March 23, 2023, at Big Creek Cemetery in Madisonville, TN.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
