Norma Jean Rinehart Blevins, age 78, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Morning Pointe of Athens.
Norma was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County. She was a daughter of the late Roy and Mary Carter Rinehart. She was also preceded by 2 sisters Dollie Sutherland and Ola Mae Cooper, and brothers Taylor Rinehart and Lewis Rinehart.
Norma was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens and very active in the Faith and Joy Sunday School class. She worked for Regions Bank for 40 years as Head Teller.
Norma is survived by
Son Bruce Blevins and Daughter-In-Law Pamela Morgan Blevins of Athens;
Grandchildren Morgan Danielle and William Bruce Blevins;
Sisters Ann Howard of Athens and Louise Farris of Athens;
Brothers Carver Rinehart (Joan) of Athens, Charles Rinehart (Kathy) of Cleveland, and John Rinehart (Deliah) of Washington, DC;
Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Henard officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM Tuesday.
