Ola Mae Rinehart Cooper, age 88, of Athens passed away July 21, 2020 at Starr Regional Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Etowah.
A native of and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Mary Carter Rinehart and was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Howard Joseph Cooper. Also preceding her in death by 1 sister Dollie Sutherland and 2 brothers, Taylor Rinehart and Lewis Rinehart.
Survivors include her daughter Peggy and David Baxter of Athens,
Son, Danny and Shelia Cooper of Athens,
Grandchildren Heath and Tammy Baxter, Bridget and Grant Willhite,
Great Grandchildren Ashley Baxter, Haley Baxter, Cooper Willhite and Rachel Willhite.
Sisters Louise Farris, Norma Blevins and Anna Howard all of Athens,
Bothers Carver Rinehart and Joan of Athens, Charles and Kathy Rinehart of Cleveland, John and Deliah Rinehart of Washington D.C.
There will be no formal visitation. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 23 at 10 am at McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. David Graybeal officiating.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
