At Grace Healthcare in Decatur

A native of Due, GA., he grew up in Bradley County and later enlisted in the Marines. He then moved to Nashville and was a longtime resident of Nashville before moving to Athens. Phillip was a son of the late James Calvin and Kathy Qualls Stanley and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Madden Stanley; step son, James Madden.

Survivors include three stepchildren,

   Brenda and Robert Rowlett of Nashville

   Betty and Robert Parker of Nashville

   Michael and Sally Madden of Nashville

Several grandchildren including his favorite, “Jamie”

One brother and sister-in-law,

   Don and Wilma Stanley of Calhoun

Graveside services will be 1 pm Central Time Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville with Terry Henry officiating.
