Patricia "Pat" Berlene (Duncan) Simpson

Patricia “Pat” Berlene Duncan Simpson, age 81, a longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Cary and Nora Irene Morgan Duncan, 2 infant daughters, a son: Ricky Ray Crye, and her siblings: Barbara Gean Duncan Cook Kincannon, Harvey “Bud” Duncan, Cecil Duncan, James Larry Duncan, and infant siblings: Viola Marcella Duncan and Jerry Wayne Duncan.

Pat is survived by her husband of 51 years: Jerry Dale Simpson, a son: Terry Lynn Crye (Janice), and her siblings: Virginia Marie Cook (Freddie), Dorothy Agatha Green, Linda Sue Bridwell, Judy Darlene Rolph, along with several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.  

Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Simpson Cemetery for Pat’s graveside service with Reverend Billy Burton officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
