Patricia 'Patty' Gail (Johnson) Crisp

Patricia “Patty” Gail Johnson Crisp, age 65, of Athens passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at her residence.

Patty was a native of Cincinnati, OH and longtime resident of McMinn County.  She was a daughter of the late Bill Johnson and Stepfather John Hampton, Jr.  She was also preceded by brothers Bobby ‘B.J.’ Johnson and John Wade Hampton, and nephew Josh Toler.

Patty had served as a cashier.

She is survived by her

Mother Vernelle Hammonds Hampton of Athens;

Sisters Sherry Bourque and husband Toby of Riceville

Cindy Hallinan and husband Mike of Etowah;

Brother Rick Hampton of Santee S.C.;

Along with several Nieces, Nephews, and Friends

Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Wednesday January11, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Wilcox officiating.  Interment will follow in South Liberty Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1 PM - 3 PM Wednesday prior to the service.
