Patsy Jeanette (Ward) Janow

Patsy Jeanette Ward Janow, age 72, native and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Jewell Creasman Ward, sister: Grace Ann Ward, and a brother: Chuckie Ward.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 52 years: Richard Janow, daughters: Jeanette Powers (Lee) and NeeNah Burris (Chris), son: Carl Richard Janow, Jr. (Donna), grandchildren: Matthew Huffstetler (Jillian Perry), Kristen Marsh (Logan), Gunnar Burris, Kolten Burris and Ryder Burris, great-grandchild: Malakai Marsh, brothers: Joe Ward and Danny Ward, and a sister: Bonnie Costner (Jeff)  

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Ziegler Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Mike Jones officiating.
