Peggy Jean Wade

Peggy Jean Spurling Wade, age 80, lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. She was a member of Athens Free Saints True Holiness Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Carrie Hicks Spurling, several brothers and sisters, and a grandson: Josh Wade.

Peggy is survived by a daughter: Debbie Beavers (Harry), Butch Wade (Kim), grandchildren: Sam Beavers and fiancée Zayda Smith, Trevor Wade (Jenna), Corey Wade, Mitchell Krcmaric (Samantha), great-grandchildren: Brynlee Wade, Avree Wade, Kohen Beavers, and Hunter, along with many other family members.

Visitation will be held at Athens Free Saints True Holiness Church on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 5:30-6:30 PM with a Celebration of Life service to be held at 7:00 PM at the church. Family and friends are invited to sign the online registry at: www.zieglerfuneralhome.com
