At his residence.

A native of Chattanooga and longtime resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late George and Janie Nation Boyd and was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Boyd; brother, Hartley Nation.

Survivors include his wife,

   Thelma Jan Davenport Boyd of Etowah

Three daughters and two sons-in-law,

   Stephanie and Greg Gable of Etowah

   Jennifer and Andrew Moses of Athens

   Amy Boyd of Knoxville

Two sons,

   Johnny Solomon of Etowah

   Hoyt Boyd of Ooltewah

Four grandchildren

Six sisters and two brothers-in-law,

   Rosie and Carl Davis

   Janice Ellison

   Bonnie and Dale Bryant

   Susie Landreth

   Sherril James

   Danielle Pedigo

Three brothers,

   William Nation, Tommy Boyd and John Boyd

Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 3:30 pm Monday in the Shiloh Cemetery.
