Robert "Paul" Alley, Sr

Robert “Paul” Alley, Sr., age 78, of Athens and longtime resident of Williston, FL, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born in Tompkinsville, KY, to the late Bedford and Lola Thompson Alley. He was also preceded by a son, Robert Paul Alley, Jr. and two brothers, Jack Alley and Earl Alley.

Paul was a retired auto mechanic and as a hobby, he loved to restore classic cars.

He is survived by the love of his life, Peggy Engel Alley, daughters: Michelle Sue Alley Taylor, and Debra Lynn Miller (Joshua), grandchildren: Natasha Alley, Aubrey Miller, and J.D. Miller, great-grandson: Kaiden Alley, sister: Hilda Hillings, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 12:00-2:00 PM in the chapel at Ziegler Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 2:00. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens.
