Robert Leroy Jennings

Robert Leroy Jennings Jr., age 80, of Delaware, OH, passed peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at his residence with his loving wife of 54 years, Cindy Jennings by his side.

Robert was a native of Marysville, MO, and longtime resident of McMinn County prior to moving to Ohio.  He was a son of the late Robert Leroy Jennings Sr. and Maxine Weaver Jennings.  He was also preceded by son Robert ‘Bobby’ Jennings, brother William ‘Bill’ Jennings and brothers-in-laws Dee Martin, Junior Martin, David Martin, Steve Lovinggood, Johnny Hyde, Bobby McNelly, James ‘Roho’ Lamb and David Winder, along with father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Ruth Martin.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Keith Whited officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Gene Fortson, Vincent Jennings, Lee Powell, Tyler Jennings, Ethan Powell, and Jason Schleusner.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM to 2 PM Wednesday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
