Ronnie Ray Cook

Ronnie Ray Cook, age 66, of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

A native and lifelong resident of Athens, Ronnie was a son of the late Albert J. and Almeda Ferguson Cook.  He was also preceded in death by a sister Janetta Bushman.

Ronnie was a member of City Park Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. He worked for Fox Photo and later at McMinn Ford as a car mechanic.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Patricia Dianne Meadows Cook;

Son Christopher Cook of Athens;

Sister Jennette Pilkey and husband Leck of Ten Mile;

Bothers James Cook and wife Brenda of Athens, Calvin Cook of Ten Mile, and Donnie Cook and wife Debbie of Athens;

Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12 – 2 PM Monday, May 10 at Ziegler Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM Monday at the Ziegler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Brown officiating.  A burial will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.  

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
