Rosario Beltran De Benitez

Ms. Rosario Benitez was born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico on 01/09/1939. She was a resident of Lindsay, CA for 35 years before moving to Athens, TN to live with her only child Susan Benitez after the passing of her husband, the late Patricio Benitez of Lindsay, CA.  

Even at the young age of 83, she was a vibrant woman who brought joy and love to anyone who met her.  She was an amazing woman with a giving spirit and was always thinking of those who had less. She was an avid gardener, always in motion, and always up and ready for the next adventure. She was not one to ever turn down an invitation to travel or celebrate one's happy moments. In short, to know her was to love her.

Rosario was the daughter of Primitivo and Ascencion Beltran.  She was also preceded by her husband Patricio Benitez and Nieces/Nephews Marino Beltran, Cecy Beltran, Tony Soberanes Culiacan, MX.

Rosario is survived by

Siblings Carmen Beltran and Ramon Beltran both of Culiacan, MX;

Daughter Susan Benitez Athens, TN;

Grandsons Jacob, Ethan, and Lincoln Watson of Athens, TN;

Nieces and Nephews Natin and Veronica Soberanes, Phoenix, AZ, Carmen (Niny) Beltran, Phoenix, AZ, Karla and Efrain Canizales, Culiacan, MX, Gaby Beltran, Culiacan, MX, Ramon Beltran Culiacan, MX, Gissela and Gilberto Lopez Culiacan, MX, Mario and Joe Sanchez Lindsay, CA:

Graveside Services will be at 6 PM Friday, May 27, 2022, at Cedar Grove Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 4 PM – 5:45 PM Friday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
