Sherry Yvonne (Huey) McRae

Sherry Yvonne Huey McRae, age 50, of Decatur passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Sweetwater Hospital in Sweetwater. 

Sherry was a native of Athens and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  She was a daughter of the late Mack Allen Huey.  She was also preceded by her brother Jackie Duckett.

Sherry had served many years as a CNA at Sweetwater Hospital and with home healthcare

Sherry is survived by her

Daughter Shayla McRae;

Sons Nathan McRae and Tyler McRae (Kait);

Mother Imogene Pilkey Huey;

Aunts Lisa Carroll (Travis) and Ginny Stewart;

Nieces Reya Joseph and Abby Carroll.

Graveside services will at 3 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Rogers Creek Cemetery with Rev. Mike Inouye officiating. 

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
