Stephanie R. Womac Buckner, age 51, a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Linda Underdown Womac and granddaughter; Brilee Buckner.
Stephanie was a member of Hillcrest Church in Etowah and was a volunteer teacher at the Hillcrest Academy for several years.
Stephanie is survived by her husband of 25 years: Michael D. Buckner; a daughter; Addison F. Buckner and son William Buckner (fiancé; Audreya Brown); Her Father; Steven G. Womac. Sisters: Heather (Wayne) Campbell, Sierra (Hayden) Davis. Brothers: Jamie (Danielle) Womac, Dewight Womac, and Greg Womac.
Sisters in law; Lisa (Maximo) Ortiz and Pearl (Chad) Cate.
Brothers in Law; Roger (Ginger) Buckner and Edward (Chrissy) Buckner.
Father in law and Mother in law: Charlie and Kim Buckner.
Grandchildren; Xander Buckner, Baxton Buckner, London Brown, and Layla Brown.
Nieces and Nephews; Lydia Ratledge, Blake Ratledge, Chloe Campbell, Oakland Davis, McKenzie Womac, Adam Womac, Amanda Womac, Miranda Ray, Joshua Buckner, Haylee Buckner, Keaton Jamerson, Kaitlyn Helton, Emma Kline, Hannah Cate, Neecy Buckner, and Alexandria Jones. Two Great Nephews; River Seagle and Banks Seagle.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Ziegler Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM at McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Zach Davis officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
