Steve Douglas Richeson

Steve Douglas Richeson, 55, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at his residence.

Steve was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  He was a son of the late

Horace Wilcox and Mary Jo Shelton Richeson.  He was also preceded in death by sister Debbie Wilcox.

Steve is survived by

Sisters Geneva Chouinard of Blue Ridge, Ga, Sherry Underwood (Tony) of Athens and Cathy Yearwood (Ray) of Haileyville, AL;

Brothers Ricky Richeson (Reeda) of Soddy Daisy, Ricky Wilcox of Athens, and Chris Richeson (Frances) of Athens;

Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins;

Special friend Summer Trew of Athens.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Friday September 23, 2022, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Roberts officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM to 2 PM Friday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
