Teresa Rae (Fultz) Hagood

Teresa Rae Fultz Hagood, age 63, of Niota passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Knoxville.

Teresa was a native of Lafayette, IN and formerly of Russellville, AL, and resident of McMinn County since 2005.  She was the daughter of the late Jack Fultz and Doris Tollison Fultz Moore.  She was also proceeded in death by daughter Dawn Oberkrom and brothers Tony Fultz and Terry Fultz.

Teresa was previously associated with Denso as an inspector.  She loved cooking, sewing, animals but she especially loved her grandbabies.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband James Hagood;

Daughter April Eaton and husband Drew of Athens;

Sons Matthew Hagood and wife Brittany of Niota, and PFC William Mark Hagood currently stationed in Kuwait;

Grandchildren Mason Frederick of Athens, Milee Eaton and Bradley Eaton both of Athens;

Son-In-Law Steven Frederick.

Funeral services will at 2 PM Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Ziegler Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Foster Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM – 2 PM Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
