Teresa (Ratledge) Statham

Teresa Ratledge Statham, age 60, of Dandridge passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021.  God took a precious angel home to be with him.  He knew that when he took her that he was getting one of the best.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Teresa was proceeded in death by father James Ratledge of Athens and brother Chris Ratledge of Niota.

Teresa was of the Pentecostal faith and a loving and caring Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and a great friend.  She was a native of Athens and a 1979 graduate of McMinn County High School.  She then resigned to God’s Country in the Great Smoky Mountains that she loved.  She was a big Tennessee Volunteers fan.  Teresa was a caring and loving person that loved helping others,always greeting everyone with a big smile and a hug.  She loved being with family and friends.  She enjoyed being a home school teacher to all of her children.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 33 years William Statham;

Daughters Alicia Statham of Jefferson City, Victoria Statham of Elizabethton; Charity Statham of Johnson City, Chansia Blaubach of Soddy Daisy, and Kamisha Freeman of Athens;

Sons Dustin Statham of Elizabethton, Spencer Statham (Jennifer) of Kingsport, and Brandon Russel of Soddy Daisy;

Mother Jeanette Hendrix of Jefferson City;

Grandchildren Chloe, Justin, Aleah, Rayden, Paisley, Kylie, Landan, Karson, Aiden, Kash, Anthony, Kaide, Kolden, Tyler, Autumn, Jaylen, Addilyn and one on the way;

Sisters Denia Price (Jeff) of Cleveland and Kristal Burton (Randy) of Rogersville;

Brothers Philip Hendrix of Kansas City, KS and Jonathon Hendrix (Hope) of Rogersville;

Nieces and Nephews Elaina, Lucus, Courtney, Alexus, Brandi, Gaven, Brianna, Katie, Kevin and David.

Funeral Service will be at 2 PM, Monday October 4, 2021 at Ziegler Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Hammonds Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM – 2 PM on Monday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
