Troy “Keith” Wattenbarger, age 57, of Athens, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Keith worked at Athens Lawn and Garden for many years. He was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Keith was the son of the late Roy Lee Wattenbarger.
He is survived by his mother, Glenda Kaye Charles Wattenbarger, sons: Brandon Wattenbarger and spouse Alyssa, Tyler Wattenbarger and spouse Haley, sister: Dana Stanley and spouse Tim, grandsons: Larkin and Baylor Wattenbarger, granddaughters: Raelynn and Remi Wattenbarger, four nieces and 2 nephews, all of Athens, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jeffery Haney officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
