Valerie Renee (Gibson) Roberts

Valerie Renee Gibson Roberts, age 39, native and longtime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her father: Gordon Gibson, her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her uncle: Clifford Drumright.

Valerie is survived by her mother: Wilda Drumright Gibson, her sons: Ashton Roberts, Skyler Roberts, Brayden Townsend, and Ayden Townsend, brother: Brian Gibson (Carrie), fiancé: Cody Townsend and his parents: John and Jennifer Townsend, a special aunt: Karen Drumright, a very special uncle: Danny Burgess, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Ziegler Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Riceville with Reverend Curtis Tackitt officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Brian Gibson,Gaige Gibson, Ashton Roberts, Skyler Roberts, Dennis Woods and Steven Wix.
