Victoria “Vickie” Moses McConkey Carver, age 62, native of Monroe County and longtime resident of Englewood, went to her heavenly home at Parkwest Hospital on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Mary Ella Moses, her husband of 41 years: Jerry McConkey, five sisters, ten brothers, and an infant granddaughter.
Left to cherish Vickie’s memory are her husband of six years: Tim Carver, daughter and son-in-law: Christie and Tyler Rowland, son: Matthew McConkey, and her stepchildren: Korbitt and Sophie Carver of Cleveland, grandchildren whom she loved very much: Dylan Seagle (Lydia), Nick Seagle (fiancée Sara Davis), Haden Seagle (Allison Gray), Logan Kolo, Noah Jones, and Macy McConkey, great-grandchildren: Banks and River Seagle, sister and brother-in-law: Judy Russell (Jim), Rhonda Wattenbarger (Jerry), Brothers: Jimmy Moses of Madisonville and Lonnie Moses of Riceville, a special son-in-law: Danny Jones, several nieces and nephews, along with her special friends at Everlasting Life and Dixon Avenue Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Chestua Baptist Church Cemetery in Madisonville. Reverend Allen Watson will be officiating.
Tim Carver, Dylan Seagle, Nick Seagle, Hayden Seagle, Matthew McConkey, and Jerry Wattenbarger will serve as pallbearers.
