Virginia Womac Freeman Boone, age 77, of Riceville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the residence of her son in Cleveland.
Virginia was a native of Athens and lifelong resident of McMinn County. She was a daughter of the late John Reece and Mary Ruth Allen Womac. She was also preceded by her husband of 25 years Lloyd Clark Boone Sr., and sisters Katie Stone and Delores Kincaid.
Virginia was of the Baptist faith and retired from Thomas & Betts.
Virginia is survived by
Sons Marvin Freeman (Betty) of Cleveland, Mark Freeman of Cleveland, and Lloyd Boone Jr. (Vicky) of Etowah;
Grandchildren; Eric Freeman (Cayci), Matthew Freeman (Felicia), Ericka Freeman, Kim Stamey (Allan), Kyle Guthrie, Anthony Freeman (Lauren), Cordell Freeman (Rachel Allison), and Mikel Davis (Fannie Mae).

Brothers Bill Womac (Ann) of Benton, Mickey Womac of Riceville, and Douglas Womac of Rock Spring, GA.;

Funeral Services will be at 7 P.M. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Williams officiating.
Graveside services will be at 10 AM, Saturday March 4, 2023, at McMinn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Eric Freeman, Matthew Freeman, Anthony Freeman, Cordell Freeman and great grandson Gabriel Davis and great nephew Ethan Kruger.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandson Mikel Davis and Marcus Christensen.
Visitation will be from 5 PM – 7 PM Friday, March 3, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home.
