Passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020

At Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville

A native of Athens and longtime resident of Woodbury, TN. and most recently of Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Martin L. “Shorty” Jolley and Nina Pearl Hall Jolley and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Barnes. She retired as a nurse from Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro after 25 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law,

   William Shannon Ledford of Knoxville

   Jeffrey Scott and Kay Ledford of Athens

Grandchildren: William S. Ledford Jr., “Rusty” Ledford, Ashley Ledford, Christopher Ledford, and Cody Ledford.

Several great grandchildren

Seven sisters and two brothers-in-law,

   Phyliss Jones, Francis and Bill Morrison, Sue Carlton, Peggy pack, Sandy Elliott, Martina and Carl Riden and Norma Jean Woods.

Two brothers, Floyd Jolley and Max Jolley.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home.  Burial will be 11 am Saturday in McMinn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
