Wanda Boles, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on March 21, 1947, Wanda was a daughter of the late Richard and Lennie Walden. She was known for her generosity and the deep love she held for her family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lisa Couch; her beloved husbands, Clyde Mcabee and Olen Boles; and her brother, Willard Walden.
She is survived by her daughters: Sheila Brown and her husband Dean, Brenda Goins and her husband Chris, and Janice Baker. She is also survived by her loving brothers, Darrell Walden, Jerry Walden, and Hank Walden. Wanda also leaves behind her stepchildren, Ladonna Boles Topping, Jim Mcabee, and Judy Howard, who will cherish her memory.
Wanda’s legacy continues through her many grandchildren: Steven Letner and his wife Jennifer, Danny Letner, Josh Hicks, Keisha Hicks, David Hicks, Breanna Akins, Peyton Goins, Gerald Shelton and his wife Natasha, Jonathon Shelton, and Mary Beth Baker. Her greatest joy was her large and growing family, which includes twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Wanda Boles will be remembered for her resilience and the unconditional love she gave to all those in her life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Ziegler Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from
12:00-1:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 PM at Clearwater Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Walden officiating.
Gerald Shelton, Jonathon Shelton, Peyton Goins, Taylor Akins, David Hicks, and Danny Letner will serve as pallbearers.
