William "Bill" Brock Haney

William “Bill” Brock Haney, 83, a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on June 22, 2023. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and  was owner and operator of 411 Package Store in Englewood. Bill loved fishing and the camaraderie with his clients and friends.  

Bill was the son of the late Floyd and Vonnie Elliott Haney. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Delores Watson Haney, son: Brian “Skeets” Nicholas Haney, brothers: Mitch Haney, A.J. Haney, Otis Haney, Creed Haney, Reed Haney, and Paul Ray Haney and a sister: Evelyn Teague.

He is survived by his daughter: Lesa “Binky” Woods (Jim), grandchildren: Henry Woods and Kaden Sanson, and sisters: Betty Fain and Sue Davis.

A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Ziegler Funeral Home.
