At her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, born on 1-17-1934, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary Leola Holland Wood and was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn Wood, Marie Webb and an infant sister, Edith Wood; brothers, Claude Wood, Clyde Wood, Youit Lee Wood and James “Willie” Wood; special nephews, Claylon Wood and Johnny Ables, and Bobby Womac; special niece, Debbie Whittaker; brother-in-law, Jerry Wagner.
Jean was known to many as Aunt Jean, she was a loving sister and “Momma” to many people. She was of the Christian faith and loved and will be missed by family and friends.

Special nieces: Robin Phillips, Kim Womac, Denise Dalton, Linda Edgmon, Mary McKinney, Virginia Hennessee, Kathy Johnston, Carolyn Cass, Donna Sweatt, Rita Gass and Diane Wood.

Great nieces: Madison Phillips, MaKayla Phillips, Shawna Brazzell, Rochelle Ables and Brittany Recht
Great nephews: Quintin Phillips, Dusty McKinney, Jeremey Wattenbarger, Jonathan Burger and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7pm Monday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy McCarter officiating. Burial will be 11 am Tuesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
